2010

THE WESTIN CONVENTION CENTER
October 28-31, 2010 - Pittsburgh, PA

This year our conference will be held in Pittsburgh in Southwestern Pennsylvania. All conference activities and hotels rooms will be located at the Westin Convention Center. This location is near the Cultural District, the Strip District, the Andy Warhol Museum, Mattress Factory and the three new sports facilities including the Consol Energy Center, Heinz Field and PNC Park.

The theme Art.Bridges.Community, not only highlights our wonderful city of bridges, but also emphasizes the bridges educators make between art, students and their communities. This theme guides how our members can give back to Pittsburgh and surrounding communities.

Conference attendees will participate in Keynote speaking engagements by author/illustrator, Mike Venezia, and Art Education Professor, Craig Roland. Furthermore, we are thrilled to offer a wide range of education workshops, tours, art demonstrations and art making opportunities.

Please go to "Conference at a Glance" for tentative pricing as you prepare to come to the conference.
