There are many beautiful neighborhoods to stay in while you visit Philadelphia. Each has their own unique style and experience. When searching for places to stay know that Moore College of Art & Design is located in the “Logan Square” section of the city. Just a 10-15 minute walk away are Fitler Square, RittenHouse Square and Franklintown. Center City Philadelphia is wonderfully quite walk-able, just know that the farther away you stay from Moore the longer it may take for you to get there. See transportation options below.

Parking
Moore College of Art & Design is a very small campus and there are no parking lots directly attached to the campus itself, but there are several paid lots, and on street metered parking very close by. Using the Philadelphia Parking Authority Lot Locator or Apps like MeterUp and SpotHero can be handy for finding places to park in our area, and can be filtered to search for wheelchair accessibility. Please allow yourself extra time for parking.
Getting around Philadelphia
- Walking: Moore College of Art & Design is in the heart of the bustling city. Food & Fun are easy to access!
- Philadelphia Taxis: You can get a taxi from just about anywhere in Philadelphia. They will be at the airport and downtown 24 hours a day.
- Philadelphia Public Transportation: Moore College of Art and Design is only a few blocks from Philadelphia’s Suburban Station, to which you can take SEPTA’s regional rail trains to the conference. Elevator access to and from Suburban Station is located at 16th and Market streets.View SEPTA’s accessible regional rail stations and accessibility information.
- Car Share Apps: The Lyft and Uber apps include accessible ride options. In the Lyft app, you must enable the Access option in Settings. In the Uber app, select UberWAV when requesting your ride.
