Between the Schuylkill River (foreground) and Center City Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Museum of Art has been a landmark since 1928. The institution is the home of internationally renowned exhibitions and a major permanent collection of Renaissance, American, impressionist and more art.

Conference Registration Fee Options:

ALL PRESENTERS MUST REGISTER BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2021.
  • PAEA Member IN PERSON Registration: $125 to attendees who will be face to face for the conference in Philadelphia and hold a current membership to NAEA/PAEA. 
  • PAEA Member IN PERSON Day Pass: $70 to attendees who will be face to face for the conference in Philadelphia for one day (Friday or Saturday only) and hold a current membership to NAEA/PAEA.
  • PAEA Member VIRTUAL ONLY Registration: $25 to attendees with a current membership to NAEA/PAEA. 
  • Non-Member IN PERSON Registration: $225  
  • Non-Member IN PERSON Day Pass: $170
  • Non-Member VIRTUAL ONLY Registration: $35
  • Preservice (student)/Retiree IN PERSON Registration: $75
  • Preservice (student)/Retiree VIRTUAL ONLY Registration: $25

PAEA ED&I Conference Grant Application

PAEA is initiating a new grant opportunity that is designed to increase equity, diversity, and inclusion in the field of visual art and design education and remove barriers to access for underserved and underrepresented individuals. This pilot will support ED&I-focused visual arts educators, with a priority focus on first-time attendees of a PAEA Conference.

Interested individuals will complete a brief survey including an “about me” essay that addresses their experience with equity, diversity, and inclusion in the field. Those selected will receive free 2021 PAEA Conference registration, free one-year PAEA/NAEA membership, and a $500 stipend to use toward lodging for the conference. Up to 2 scholarships will be awarded. This grant is designed to support visual arts and design educators on their path of continued professional learning, teaching, and leadership development. Those selected will engage with the PAEA ED&I Committee for continued sharing and connection.

Eligibility: Applicants must spend at least 51% of their professional work as a visual arts/design education professionals in the field of art and design education.
